Linking local families
with local charities

The Martin family, wished to identify a Chelsea charity to help.

After months of getting to know each other, research and discussion, we introduced the family trust's Chair, Emma Carlton-Smith, to SMART, supporting mentally and physically disabled residents of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.

Based on support from The Martin Charitable Trust, SMART is developing a self-sustaining social enterprise to help disabled people into work through floristry and a high-quality coffee bar, open to the public.

It means a lot to us as donors that 100% of what we give to the Foundation goes to the charities they help us choose
